They also help you meet part of your obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act, which include:

  • Awareness of what facilities you can or cannot provide.
  • Having a plan of improvements you intend to implement, including timescales.
  • Having budgets planned, to cover the cost of improvements.
  • In addition, Section 4.26 of the DDA Code of Practice states, "businesses must communicate anything that is unreasonably difficult for someone to use."
